姚永刚博士,研究员,博士生导师。1997年毕业于安徽师范大学生物系获学士学位,2003年于中国科学院昆明动物研究所/中科院研究生院获博士学位。20032-20049月在约翰霍普金斯大学医学院(Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine)从事博士后研究工作,200410-20081月在美国国家健康研究院心脏、肺、血液研究所(National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, NIH)从事博士后研究工作。200712月回昆明动物研究所工作,现为疾病机理遗传学与进化医学学科组负责人。已在Am J Hum GenetAutophagyPNASAlzheimers DementRedox BiolSCI期刊发表论文和评述270余篇,被SCI引用8530多次,h指数=49(截止2022531日)。先后获得朱李月华优秀教师奖、国家自然科学奖二等奖(第二获奖人)、新世纪百千万人才工程国家级人选、云南省有突出贡献优秀专业技术人才奖等奖项与荣誉称号。2009年获得国家杰出青年基金和云南省高端科技人才计划资助,先后承担中科院战略性科技专项(B类)和前沿重点部署项目、国家基金委重点和面上项目等。现担任“Zoological Research Associate Editor (2010.12 - 2012.08) 和主编(Editor-in-chief, 2012.09- )、“Journal of Genetics and Genomics (2010- )和“Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology(2018-) Editorial Board Member、“Journal of Human Genetics Associate Editor (2011- )、“Infection, Genetics and Evolution Receiving Editor (2012- )、“PLoS ONE Academic Editor (2012- )、“Scientific Reports Editorial Board Member (2016- )

  研究方向

致力于人类疾病遗传机制与进化医学研究,按照EAFE = Evolutionary analysis; A = Association study; F = Functional assay)三层次,带领团队深入开展神经和免疫系统相关疾病的遗传基础与分子机制解析,通过对阿尔茨海默症等神经系统疾病和感染性疾病麻风的集中研究,试图阐明机体神经系统与免疫系统紊乱和病变导致的复杂临床表型的遗传基础与机理。力争将复杂纷繁的科研工作变得“Easier And Fun”。同时,集中开展实验动物树鼩生物学、遗传修饰和品系创制研究。
