美国专利：

Rongjing Zhang, Doron Shilo, Guruswami Ravichandran, Kaushik Bhattacharya, Method and apparatus for measuring the mechanical response of micro-electro-mechanical systems. US patent 7444880B2, (2008)

博士期间从事智能材料微机电系统的性能研究；博士毕业后在哈佛医学院及麻省总医院做博士后期间，从事皮肤癌的无损检测研究；之后在哈佛大学Rowland 研究所工作期间，从事用先进光学方法研究细菌的群体行为研究，包括集群(swarming), 游动(swimming), 以及微生物膜形成(biofilm formation)。所做工作发表在PNAS, Optics Express, J. Appl. Mech., J. Bacteriol.等权威期刊，获得了美国专利1 项，先后在国际会议中做口头报告10余次，应邀做邀请报告1 次。曾获美国加州理工学院 Donald Coles Prize, Ernest E. Sechler Memorial Award, Russell R. Vought Fellowship等荣誉。
