参加工作以来，主要从事视听觉信息处理、模式识别、情感计算以及智能机器人等方面的研究工作。主要研究方向包括：智能交互及情感人脸动画合成、立体视觉和三维场景重建、生物特征识别、联合彩色和深度信息的图像超分辨率重建以及核环境下的多关节蛇形遥操纵机器人等。
已在IEEE Transactions、ACM Transactions、Information Fusion、计算机学报、自动化学报、电子学报、软件学报、中国图象图形学报、声学学报等国内外学术期刊和CVPR、ECCV、ICPR、ICIP、ICASSP、ICME等重要国际学术会议上发表论文两百余篇。
到目前为止，主持国家自然科学基金项目、863计划项目、科技部ITER专项、中科院创新工程项目、安徽省科技攻关项目等科研项目10余项。
申请中国国家发明专利33项(已获授权13项)；申请中国实用新型专利3项(已获授权2项)。
编著教材一部（模式识别，中国科学技术大学出版社，2010）。

Prof. Zengfu Wang was born in Hefei, China. He received the B.E. degree in information and system from University of Science and Technology of China in 1982, the M.E. degree in communications and electronic engineering from Nanjing Electronic Engineering Research Center (The fourteenth Institute, CETC), and the Ph.D. degree in control engineering from Osaka University, Japan, respectively. He is now a professor of Institute of Intelligent Machines, Chinese Academy of Sciences and is also with the University of Science and Technology of China.
Research interests:
His research interests include stereo vision, biometrics, affective computing and intelligent robotics.
