Professor Sun is principally engaged in high-temperature superconductors, strongly correlated electron systems, and transport properties of magnetic materials in low-dimensional quantum systems. He has published 90 research papers, including 10 Phys. Rev. Lett., with a total of citations exceeding 1000 times according to SCI.
