Research Profile

Professor Yuedong Meng: Born in October 1959 in Jiangsu province, Ph.D, Professor. Head of plasma application division, institute of plasma physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Deputy director of plasma professional committee, China mechanics academy. Main interests are plasma physical experiments and industrial application. The research currently emphasis focus on microwave, RF and OAUGD low temperature plasma, arc and torch hot plasma and their application such as sterilization, macromolecule graft polymer, solid trash treated innocuously and coal pyrogenation for acetylene and so on.
