Research Profile

YAN Lifeng received his PhD. from University of Science and Technology of China in 2001. Dr. Yan is now a professor and doctoral supervisor. His main areas of research are functional polymeric biomaterials, green chemical conversion biomass energy, preparation of functional polymer materials, carbon nano material preparation,  application research in catalysis and energy conversion, etc. He works in College of Chemistry and Materials of University of Science and Technology of China and also in Hefei Microscale National Laboratory. Meanwhile, he is a major member of an innovation team for “Macromolecules Colloidal and Solution” sponsored by the Minisry of Education. He has visited Japan many times for joint research with Tokyo Institute of Technology, University of Tokyo, and Osaka University.
