Research Profile

KANG Yu, born in 1977, is a professor and doctoral supervisor. He received his BSc. from Hefei University of Technology in 1999 and his PhD. in engineering from USTC in 2005. Between 2005 and 2007, Dr. Kang worked as a postdoc at the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science (AMSS) under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Since 2007, he has been working in the Department of Automation of USTC. He was selected into New Century Excellent Talents Program in University by Ministry of Education of China, a recepient of Anhui Provincial Fund for Excellent Youth. He serves as a member of the Young Working Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation, vice-president of the Beijing Branch of IEEE CSS, a senior member of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, and a member of the Anhui Association of Automation. Dr. Kang has headed or participated in major projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National High Performance Computing Foundation of China, the National High Technology Research Program, and Program 863.
