Li Xiaoguang: BSc (1982) from Anhui University; MSc( 1985) and DSc (1989) from the Institute of Solid State Physics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
Li has previously conducted scientific research successively at the University of Tokyo (JSPS Fellow), Tsinghua University of Taiwan, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong University, and Tokyo Institute of Technology. In 1993, he was appointed professor of USTC.
Prof.Li has made meaningful progresses in his research on the magnetic properties and microstructure of perovskite oxide materials (high temperature superconducting and magnetic coupling material), and exploration of low dimensional materials and their properties. He has had a total of over 180 papers published in internationally influential journals indexed by SCI such as Nature Materials, Phys. Rev. Lett., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Funct. Mater., Phys. Rev. B, Appl . Phys. Lett., etc., whose papers have had a total of citations exceeding 1880 times. Besides, he has published such monographs as Physics and Chemistry in Advanced Ceramic Processign and Technology (Science Press, 2001, co-author), Studies of High Temperature Superconductors (Nova Science Publishers, 2005, co-author), and Handbook of Nanoceramics and Their Based Nanodevices (American Scientific Publishers, 2006, co-author). Li also has had eight patents authorized.
