Research Profile

Yanli Qiao was conferred a BS' degree in Computer and Communication from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunication in 1982, and a MS' degree in Optics from Anhui Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (AIOFM), Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1984. He is now the director of Remote Sensing Department at AIOFM, where he has served for 20 years. In 1986, 1995, 1998 and 2001, he visited Japanese Institute of Physical Chemical, Chiba University, Japan, and INRA-CSE (Climate, Solet Environment), France for the research of optical remote sensing. Since 1994, he has been one of the PIs of Chinese Remote Sensing Radiometric Correction Site. He is now the PI of the projects of Remote Sensing Calibration and Characterization., and Polarization Imaging for Remote Sensing
