Research Profile

    Wei YI, born in Shanghai in 1977, received his BSc from Department of Applied Physics, University of Science and Technology of China in 2000, and his PhD from Department of Physics of the University of Michigan (U.S.) in 2007. From 2007 to 2010 Dr. Yi assumed postdoctoral positions at the University of Michigan and the University of Innsbruck (Austria). In May 2010, Dr. Yi joined the University of Science and Technology of China as a professor and doctoral supervisor in the Department of Optics and Optical Engineering. His main research interests include ultracold atoms, quantum simulation and strongly correlated systems.
