WU Tao, selected into the “Recruitment Program of Global Experts” by the Chinese government, received his PhD in Physics from USTC in 2009. From 2009 to 2012, he conducted his postdoctoral research at National Laboratory of High Magnetic Field (Grenoble, French). Since November 2012, he has been working as a professor at Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Science at Microscale in USTC. Dr. Wu has received several prestigious awards, including CAS President Special Award, CAS Prize for Excellent Doctoral Dissertation, and Top 100 National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Prize. His research focuses on superconductivity with nuclear magnetic resonance and physical property of strongly correlated electron systems in extreme conditions. He has published 47 papers included by SCI, including 3 in Nature, 1 in Nature communications, 8 in Phys.Rev.Lett, and 14 in Phys. Rev. B.
