Changsong Liu (C. S. Liu) was born in august, 1966 in Yuexi county, Anhui province, Ph.d professor and selected person of "Hundred Talents Program" of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He finished his university life in Anhui Normal University, and then received his MS degree and Ph. D in the field of physics of condensed matter from the Institute of Solid State physics (ISSP), Chinese Academy of Sciences. He held the faculty positions of an associate (2001) and full professor (2003) in ISSP. During 2001-2003, he worked at the computational materials theory center at California State University Northridge as a postdoctor.Dr. C. S. Liu has published 50+ SCI papers in the Phys. Rev. Lett., Phys. Rev. B, J. Chem. Phys. etc international journals. His main research interests are those very interesting and important issues in materials sciences, granular materials, and liquid physics: 1) The microstructure, mechanical properties and radiation resistance of high-Z plasma facing materials (W- and Mo-based alloys) and chosen structural materials. 2) The microstructure properties of liquid/amorphous metals and alloys. 3) The dynamic properties of granular materials. Welcome candidates for Ph. D and MS degree with the background of condensed mater physics or materials physics.
