Ding Bojiang, male, born in 1972 in Qianshan County, Anhui Province, Ph. D, Professor. He mainly focus on the related simulation on lower hybrid wave heating and current drive in tokamak plasma, experiments of lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) improving plasma confinement and its mechanism study, synergy study of lower hybrid wave and ion Bernstein wave (IBW), coupling between LHW and plasma, and the plasma transport.
Dr. Ding graduated from the physics department, Anhui University in 1995. He received his Ph.D in Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2001. Supported by the MEXT program in Japan, he analyzed the effect of CXRS on the poloidal rotation velocity measurements in tokamak plasma in NAKA institute, JAEA from 2003 to 2004. As a visiting scientist, he studied and analyzed the plasma simulation and the interaction of LHW and plasma in Cadrache institute in 2007. As project head and coordinator, he was responsible for 2 projects from the National Nature Science Foundation of China. He also partly carried out several projects from National Nature Science Foundation of China and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
