Dr. Hu Jiansheng, Professor, Deputy director of Tokamak Physics Division, group leader of Vacuum Technology and Wall Conditioning.
Born in 1973 in Anhui province, China. Obtained bachelor's degree in the department of electronic engineering in Xi’an Jiaotong Univ. in 1994, majoring in Vacuum Electronic and Physics Devices. Obtained Mater’s degree in 1998 and Obtained Ph’D in 2008 in ASIPP, majoring in Fusion Engineering and Plasma Physics.
Fields of interest are Plasma and Wall Interaction (wall conditioning, plasma facing components design, etc.) and Vacuum Science and Technology. Designed movable Mo pumping limiter, high performance toroidal graphite actively cooled limiters with CrCu heat sink, guard limiters of LHCD antenna, and liquid lithium limiter for HT-7. Analyzed plasma facing materials deposition, erosion and dusts in HT-7 and EAST. Investigation of wall conditionings, such as baking, GDC and ICRF cleanings, Boronization, Lithium coating in HT-7 and EAST. Investigation of oxidation wall conditionings associated with baking, GDC and ICRF for deposits removal and hydrogen release. Pumping system, gas puffing system and wall conditioning system development and operation for HT-7 and EAST.
