Research Profile

Wei Qingnong, male, born in 1961, Professor, Doctoral student supervisor. He is now the director of Optic Environmental Monitoring Department at Anhui Institute of Optics & Fine Mechanics(AIOFM) and the guest    Professor of University of Science and Technology of China. He was graduated from  depa rtment of Modern Physics, University of Science and Technology of China in 1982 and received the MS degree in Anhui institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics in 1985. He worked in department of Physics, University of Florence, Italy and the center of  environmental remote sensing, Chiba University, Japan as visiting scholar.His main interests are in the research of the new method and technology of atmos pheric environmental monitoring, the application of long-path differential optical a bsorption spectroscopy for atmospheric environmental monitoring, and optical sca ttering characteristic for some typical material. He has taken several projects from Chinese Academy of Science and the science and technology bureau of Anhui pro vince and has rich experience in technology of atmospheric pollution monitoring,a nalysis of spectroscopy, and signature processing and detecting.
