Research Profile

 Junyu ZHAO, Male, born in 1963, Professor. Deputy Director of Tokamak Division, Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Main interests are plasma physics, study of Tokamak experiments, plasma diagnostics, Laser Thomson scattering and optics. Mr. Zhao graduated from Tongji University at Shanghai in 1986. He had been working abroad as visiting scholar for the Thomson scattering and plasma confinement, at General Atomics in San-Diego of USA from 1996-1997 and at Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute from 1997 to 1998. As project head and coordinator, Mr. Zhao carried out several projects from National Nature Science Foundation of China and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
