Changhui Ye, male, born in 1973, Ph.D, professor of Key Laboratory of Materials Physics, Institute of Solid State Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Ye obtained his bachelor degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 1997, master degree from the same university in 2000, and Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Solid State Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005. He has been sponsored by Japan Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS), Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, and Australian Research Council (ARC) as a research scientist from 2005 to 2009. He has been awarded the Special Prize of the President Scholarship in 2004. He has published more than 70 peer-reviewed papers on well-known journals such as J. Am. Chem. Soc., Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Appl. Phys. Lett., and so on, and has been cited by other researchers on journals including Science and Nature for more than1500 times. He is in the Editorial Board of three international journals, and has been the Guest Editor for two international journals.Current interests include 1) Investigation of the basic physical and chemical issues in design and synthesis of ZnO nanoarrays; 2) New-generation nanostructured solar cells; 3) Related issues in clean energy; 4) Photoelectrochemical sensitive analysis and detection for environmental applications. Now, he has completed and is undertaking four research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and is in charge of one project of the "973" Program. Students with backgrounds of material physics and chemistry, optoelectronics, electronics, and other related disciplines are strongly welcome.
