Mingtai WANG, born in 1965, PhD, Professor. He obtained his PhD degree in 1997 from the University of Science and Technology of China and was enrolled in the same year by the Institute of Solid State Physics (ISSP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) as a postdoctoral research fellow. After the postdoctoral period, he joined the ISSP as an associate professor in 1999. During 2000-2003, he worked at the Leibniz-Institute of Polymer Research Dresden, Germany, wherein he was awarded an Alexander von Humboldt research fellowship in 2001. In June 2004, he was selected as a research professor by the “100-talent Program” of CAS at the Institute of Plasma Physics. At present, his academic activities mainly focus on the Chemistry and Physics of Nanostructured Optoelectronic Materials for polymer-based photovoltaic cells and other nanostuctured solar cells. |
