Zhimin Liu, male, was born in July.1962, PhD. He is now a professor in Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ASIPP). He graduated from the department of electronic engineering in Hefei University of Technology in 1988. He got M.S. and PhD degrees in the Major of Nuclear Energy Science and Engineering in ASIPP and GUCAS. His main research fields were the development of the techniques for high magnetic field before 2002. In 1996, he won the fellowship supported by Institute for solid state physics in University of Tokyo for development of the techniques for generating ultrahigh magnetic fields using electromagnetic flux compression for one year. His current main research interest covers the ion source and neutral beam engineering, the supply powers of ion source, control and data acquisition of the neutral beam injection. As a senior visiting scholar, studied at National Institute for Fusion Sciences in Japan, Japan Atomic Energy Agency Naka Fusion Institute and Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics，Russian Academy of Sciences Siberian Division.
