Research Profile

    Wu Wenbin graduated from the Department of Physics, Anhui University, in July 1985 with a bachelor’s degree. He received his Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in September 1994. In June 1999, he was appointed professor of physics at USTC. From October 1995 to August 2003, he has been to the Hong Kong Polytechnic University many times to conduct collaborative research successively as an Associate Research Fellow, Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Fellow. In July 2001, he was selected into the list of “Hundred Talents Program” of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). In 2003, he became a candidate supported by the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars of China. Professor Wu has long been engaged in research on ferroelectric thin films, colossal magnetoresistance films, transparent conductive films and the related heteroepitaxy, physics and devices, etc. He has published more than 100 papers to date indexed by SCI with a total of citations exceeding 700 times.
