Research Profile

Han Zhengpu, male, professor and doctoral supervisor, born in 1962, is a native of Shouxian, Anhui province. He graduated from the Department of Physics, Anhui University, in 1983, with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. Han received his Master of Science degree from the Department of Physics, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 1990. In 1997, he was a Visiting Scholar at the Free University of Berlin, Germany. In 1999 he was a Visiting Scholar at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. From 1990 to 2000, he was a Research Associate at the National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory, USTC. After 1996, he was in charge of the time-resolved beam line and the experimental stations. Since 2001, he has been an Associate Professor and Professor successively at CAS Key Laboratory of Quantum Information. Since 2005, he has served as Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Quantum Information, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). From 2007 to 2009, he served as Dean of the Department of Physics, USTC. Since 2009, he has been the Executive Director of the Department of Optics and Optical Engineering, USTC.
