Research Profile

Ji Haibo, male, born in May 1964, is now a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Department of Automation, School of Information Science & Technology, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Ji graduated from the Department of Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering, Zhejiang University in 1984. Ji received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Mechanics and Engineering Science, Peking University in 1990 and went to work at the Department of Automation, USTC in the same year. Prof. Ji’s main research interests are complex system modeling and control, nonlinear control and applications, navigation and guidance, random and mixed systems, etc. Prof. Ji has undertaken a number of research projects to date including those supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ph.D. Programs Foundation of the Ministry of Education of China, and the Funds of the Chinese Academy of Sciences for Key Topics in Innovation Engineering. Prof. Ji has had a total of more than 80 research papers published in major academic journals at home and abroad, and has won two third prizes of the science and technology progress award at ministerial levels.
