Xu Yinlong, male, born in June 1963, professor, Ph.D. supervisor, deputy director of National High Performance Computing Center at Hefei, deputy director of Key Laboratory of High Performance Computing and Application of Anhui Province, member of Commission on High Performance Computing of China Computer Federation, research mainstay of “Computing of Large-scale Scientific Projects”, innovation group of Ministry of Education. He obtained bachelor’s degree in Dept. of Mathematics in Peking University in 1983, master’s degree in 1989 and doctoral degree in 2004, both from Dept. of Computer Science and Technology of USTC. He visited and did further research in Dortmund University, Germany, from 1994 to 1996. He won the Second Prize of National Teaching Award in 2001, Qshine Best Dissertation Award in 2006, CAS Excellent Doctoral Dissertations Award for Ph.D. Supervisors in 2007 and was nominated as National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award for Supervisors in 2007. He has presided over 2 projects of National Natural Science Foundation and 2 projects of National 863 Project, and participated in the key project of National Natural Science Foundation, major basic research project of National 973 Project, National 863 key project, Doctoral Program Funds by Ministry of Education and National Climbing Project. He has published over 150 academic papers on national and international renowned academic journals and international academic conferences.
