Research Profile

    Xu Xiaoliang, professor and Ph.D. supervisor at USTC. 
Xu graduated from the Department of Modern Physics, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in July 1983. In April 1999, Xu received his doctoral degree from the University of Hong Kong. From June 1999 to September 2001, he pursued his postdoctoral studies at USTC. From May 1999 to November 2005, he was an Associate Professor at USTC. Since December 2005, he has been working as a professor at the university.
Research has been focused on three aspects:
(1)Nano functional probes (QDs,photothermal materials,etc.)used in biomedical studies.
(2)Nono-metal configurated plasmonic lens enhanced new generate solar cells.
(3)Self clean bionic micro-nano films.
