国家杰出青年科学基金获得者、教育部跨世纪人才入选者。SCI杂志《Algebra Colloquium》责任编委(2003.1-2005.12)和编委(2006.1起)、核心杂志《数学学报》编委(2009.1起)。主要学习经历： 1989年2月中国科学院系统科学研究所获博士学位（方向：Kac-Moody代数，导师：万哲先院士） 1985年7月厦门大学数学系获硕士学位（方向：李代数，导师：杨锡安教授） 1982年7月厦门大学数学系获学士学位主要工作经历： 2005年7月至今中国科技大学特聘教授 1998年1月-2005年7月上海交通大学数学系、教授、博士生导师；其中 2003年8月-2004年8月澳大利亚悉尼大学数学系研究员 2002年9月-2003年6月美国哈佛大学数学系访问教授 1990年9月-1997年12月获包玉刚基金-中英友好奖学金，先后在英国伦敦大学玛丽皇后学院、加拿大Concordia大学、魁北克大学蒙特利尔分校作访问学者、博士后研究工作7年 1989年3月-1990年9月及1985年8月-1986年8月厦门大学数学系助教、讲师

博士考生须具备李代数及其表示的基本理论，基本要求是学完 [1] 《有限维半单李代数简明教程》（苏育才、卢才辉、崔一敏，科学出版社，2008年）； [2]《李代数及其表示理论导引》（J.E. Humphreys著，陈志杰译，上海科学出版社，1981年）； [3]《Infinite Dimensional Lie Algebras》（V.G. Kac, Cambridge University Press, 1990）。最低要求是学完[1]。
